Exponent: more than just a company

Exponent has recorded an impressive history since its establishment in 1991.

Originally Exponent was a small Belgian company that built ropes courses specifically for experience-driven learning. Stef Geens, Exponent 's founder, had previously worked many years as a trainer in Europe and the United States. Exponent soon began building its products outside Belgium as well and started designing more specialised courses, such as one for wheelchair users.

The demand for commercial courses grew. This led to a decision to divide the company into Exponent Challenge Technology, which concentrates on the construction side, and Exponent Challenge Services, which focuses on training. Today, Exponent is an international network complete with global agents, partners and products.
